From Carlsbad with Love..

San Diego county is blessed with an enormous amount of extremely talented shapers.

David Falkenau of Artisan Surfboards has a few very interesting shapes going thru the shop right now:

First up is this 6'8 mid length Quad, not sure what David calls this model or perhaps this is just a one off custom design.

This board features a small slot channel groove down the stringer both top and bottom, and extremely deep double concave thru the fins and out the back.

Dimensions are: 6'8 x 22 1/8" x 2 7/8" this thing looks like the terror of Terramar!

Next up is this rad old school looking twinfin'ish outlined quad

again we see some super deep double concave running thru the fins and out the back:

This shape looks super fun and would make a great daily driver or summertime board

anybody interested in getting in touch with David he can be reached @ info@artisansurfdesigns.com

KEAHANA is proud to support surfboard builders of all sizes, from Channel Islands and LOST to the smaller boutique label shapers and backyard guys.
