It's MILLER Time!

CORDELL Miller that is..

Cordell Miller
is an established surfer/shaper from Newport Beach, CA who started surfing when he was nine. When he was 17 and 18 he became one of the standout surfers in California and started getting a lot of different boards from the best shapers of the 1990’s. Upon getting a board from shaper Xanadu, his eyes were opened to the potential new possibilities created through increasing rocker in high performance surfboard designs when done correctly. He has since devoted his life to championing these increased rocker thruster shapes both in the lineup and the shaping bay.

From Carlsbad with Love..

San Diego county is blessed with an enormous amount of extremely talented shapers.

David Falkenau of Artisan Surfboards has a few very interesting shapes going thru the shop right now:

First up is this 6'8 mid length Quad, not sure what David calls this model or perhaps this is just a one off custom design.

This board features a small slot channel groove down the stringer both top and bottom, and extremely deep double concave thru the fins and out the back.

Dimensions are: 6'8 x 22 1/8" x 2 7/8" this thing looks like the terror of Terramar!

Next up is this rad old school looking twinfin'ish outlined quad

again we see some super deep double concave running thru the fins and out the back:

This shape looks super fun and would make a great daily driver or summertime board

anybody interested in getting in touch with David he can be reached @ info@artisansurfdesigns.com

KEAHANA is proud to support surfboard builders of all sizes, from Channel Islands and LOST to the smaller boutique label shapers and backyard guys.

another ASR in the Books!

ASR 2010

All the boys here at KEAHANA have been training getting pumped up for ASR!

First a warmup BBQ here at our KEAHANA Oceanside factory

Then we head downtown to the Convention Center..
The ASR show was actually quite different this year with the addition of two new shows. "Class" was held upstairs, kind of a streetware boutique clothing show similar to "Magic" if any of you remember that. "Access" is what the main ASR show floor is called now. Overall the attendance and floor traffic was good and they had a rad mini-ramp this year. Right outside in the Petco parking lot area was "Crossroads" the skateboard vendor show. In this video we tried to capture some of the essence of the show to share with you, or maybe it was just a good way to meet some girls and have fun... You know what they say, What happens at ASR, stays at ASR.. or something like that. Anyhow thank you everyone for your support and for making this a great year for
KEAHANA, we really appreciate it!

LOST Surfboards will be unveiling many new exciting models for 2010

SuB Scorcher

The ROCK UP

The BLUNT

Personally I have had heaps of LOST Surfboards, tons of RNF's, many SD-2's, quite a few ROCKETS, the SHARK, WHIPLASH, and I'm probably forgetting some. The one common denominator with all these boards is that they all totally KICK ASS!
KEAHANA EPS has been working closely with LOST Surfboards over the years supplying boards to Pro's and top level people. Now this same level of KEAHANA performance is finally available to the general public. We will try to keep some Demo's available in our Oceanside showroom so if you are in the area and would like to feel the KEAHANA difference please feel free to contact us.

Thank you everybody and we hope you enjoy the show!
