KEAHANA going big in 2010!!!

KEAHANA Ripper Tiago Monteiro charging it!!!

Tiago Monteiro hails from Praia do Rosa, Brazil just south of Florianopolis. Tiago has been living in Hawaii now since 2001 and has quickly become a solid member of the burgeoning tow in surfing community. The photos above were taken at outside LOG CABINS last week. Tiago would like to credit his tow partner Ron Barron, and also thank sponsor ArtinSurf .

Tiago has been riding KEAHANA surfboards since 2006, he feels the springy EPS foam combined with the proprietary Caixeta stringer are a big advantage with damping large chop. The glassing schedules can be fully tunable so more weight can be added to the boards as desired. The trademarked KEAHANA strength and durability is also a huge advantage. Tiago's tow boards typically range from 5'9 to 6'2" in length, the widths are pulled into the 16" maybe 16 1/2" wide range, and the thickness remains pretty consistent at around 2".
