CHECK THIS GUY OUT! SHINECUSTOM IS GOING TO BLOW YOUR MIND.

His nickname says everything: Shine.

Rafael “Shine” Veiga is one of a kind artist who can transform pretty much anything in a piece of art. It doesn’t matter if you are a boy, a girl, young or old generation:  you are going to freak out!

Crazy colors on perfect drawings that reflect happiness and make you feel good by just admiring it.

In Brazil, he works for …Lost and paints displays, surfboards, walls, skateboards, helmets, earphones, sunglasses, you name it!

His wish for new experiences in other cultures made him spend some time in California and Hawaii. It sounds like he will be able to refine even more his talent and search for inspiration on two of the best places for surfing and skateboarding on the planet.

By looking at Rafael, you can see his humbleness, which is so typical of the biggest talented artists. You can also see tattoos everywhere that show his love for colors and art. This guy was born to shine, that’s for sure.

You can check more pictures and know more about him by visiting his facebook  Flickr and Instagram to see what this guy is capable of.

ANOTHER GREAT FEEDBACK FROM ONE OF OUR CLIENTS

Today we got an e-mail that represents very well how our technology shocks surfers. Because of feedbacks like this, we strongly believe in the KEAHANA power. We are used to hear things like that, but this e-mail was so meaningful for us that we just wanted to share it. This customer got a ALBUM surfboard using KEAHANA tech and wrote this to Matt Parker who sent it to us.
"The board is amazing. I am absolutely blown away. 3 seconds after I stood up on it for the first time I was shocked by it's speed and responsiveness. By my second wave I was in love.

It is already opening up all kinds of possibilities for me. It's so much smaller than anything else I have ever effectively surfed. I feel like I can take it anywhere on the wave and push my turns really hard, yet when I screw up, it allows me to recover and keep the wave going.

I am someone who does not really become attached to surfboards. I don't worry to much if they get dinged or dented. I view them as something to be used and enjoyed not coddled. After my first session on this board Iimmediately went to Ripcurl and dropped $80 on a bag so the board would be

protected out of the water. I want it to last forever.

Regarding my fear of the board being to small; You were once again completely correct. I can easily catch waves on it, yet it's really light,
fast, responsive, and maneuverable. I have been surfing at Trestles all week from head high to knee high and the board works in both. Obviously in the small stuff I would have preferred one of my fishes, but this shape still worked admirably.

The Keahana epoxy is awesome. The board feels really vibrant and poppy.
Once again my expectations have been far exceeded. It really seems to snapout of turns.

Excellent work! In my opinion you are a truly gifted surfboard shaper I
can't compliment you enough on the job you did on my board. So far this has been the best surfboard I have ever owned. Once again, I am not just saying that, I really mean it. I am shocked at how good it is, I have never surfed
anything like it
."

We are super stocked!! Thanks to everyone who give us a try! Thanks ALBUM, you've made or day!

KEAHANA QUIVER AT MAYHEM'S BLOG

Matt Biolos recently wrote about us in his blog as we made some boards for Nationals this year:

"June….Every year San Clemente (and OC in General) becomes the center of the UNiverse for contest surfers not yet old enough to carry a gun into war….or vote for that matter. The NSSA Nationals, in HB…The "King of the Groms" and the grand daddy of them all…The US Champs, where every little mighty might gets to have precious private time in the legendary long, soft and swattable peaks of Lower trestles. With that comes board orders, both from well organized youngsters and last minute shucksters. Here's a few we did collaborating with Keahana , Brazilian Epoxy technology. The Hawaiian contingent of Seth Muniz, Luke Hitchcock, and big Zeke Lau, who if theres some size this year should be the favorite to win the Mens titles."

Thanks Mayhem for working with us!
