Today we got an e-mail that represents very well how our technology shocks surfers. Because of feedbacks like this, we strongly believe in the KEAHANA power. We are used to hear things like that, but this e-mail was so meaningful for us that we just wanted to share it. This customer got a ALBUM surfboard using KEAHANA tech and wrote this to Matt Parker who sent it to us.
"The board is amazing. I am absolutely blown away. 3 seconds after I stood up on it for the first time I was shocked by it's speed and responsiveness. By my second wave I was in love.
It is already opening up all kinds of possibilities for me. It's so much smaller than anything else I have ever effectively surfed. I feel like I can take it anywhere on the wave and push my turns really hard, yet when I screw up, it allows me to recover and keep the wave going.
I am someone who does not really become attached to surfboards. I don't worry to much if they get dinged or dented. I view them as something to be used and enjoyed not coddled. After my first session on this board Iimmediately went to Ripcurl and dropped $80 on a bag so the board would be
protected out of the water. I want it to last forever.
Regarding my fear of the board being to small; You were once again completely correct. I can easily catch waves on it, yet it's really light, fast, responsive, and maneuverable. I have been surfing at Trestles all week from head high to knee high and the board works in both. Obviously in the small stuff I would have preferred one of my fishes, but this shape still worked admirably.
The Keahana epoxy is awesome. The board feels really vibrant and poppy. Once again my expectations have been far exceeded. It really seems to snapout of turns.
Excellent work! In my opinion you are a truly gifted surfboard shaper I can't compliment you enough on the job you did on my board. So far this has been the best surfboard I have ever owned. Once again, I am not just saying that, I really mean it. I am shocked at how good it is, I have never surfed
anything like it."
