Xanadu and his team riders spent a lot of time doing test and after a few good sessions, they gave this new model a GO.
His new model The Piglet is going to stores! Basically, The Piglet is an advanced model of another small wave surfboard from Xanadu, named Pig 2.The goal was to keep the front end and modified the back end of a Pig 2 to create the Piglet. Pig 2 is considered a success for its versatility in almost any small wave. Let's see what happens with the Piglet model with KEAHANA TECH!

Yuri Soledad is a complete surfer. He is a stand out in Jaws. He is one of the pioneers in surfing big waves in Maui. Him and his friends dominate paddle or town in in Jaws. All you have to do is go to Jaws when waves are going off and you will quickly now how he controls everything when surf pics up.
He looks for big waves around the globe.
Yuri just got a 4 board quiver with KEAHANA to Surf this winter in Maui. 5'11, 6'4, 6'8, 7'2
He is a family man with 3 kids and is a co-owner of one of the top restaurant in Paia Maui - " Paia Fish Market".
One the most important jobs for Yuri is to coach grommet Ian Gentil. Ian just signed with Billabong has very good chances to get on the WCT elite.
Yesterday was a very exciting day for young Professional surfer Tanner Hendricksen. The waves were pumping, the session was amping and he broke two of his favorite polyester surfboards. Then.. things really took an unexpected turn when Tanner Hendricksen and Kai Barger heard a cry for help....
SHARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tanner and Barger heard a nearby bodyboarders scream but couldn't believe that there was a shark nearby. He watched as the two bodyboarders paddled slowly back toward him and his friends.
"I asked them if they had seen a shark and he said that he had been bitten by one," Barger said. "He lifted his leg and his fin was gone and all of the skin on his shin was off. It was really gnarly."
Barger and fellow professional surfer Tanner Hendrickson towed the two boys back to shore against the current.
"We just told him that he was O.K., that he still had a foot, and that he was going to survive this," Barger said. "We just did whatever we could to keep him calm."
On the beach, Barger and Hendrickson used their leashes as tourniquets for the wound while they waited for emergency medical services to arrive.
WOW!! Nice job Kai and Tanner!!!!! This sets a fine example for all watermen that we need to look out for one another and come to the rescue if conditions warrant swift action.
Outstanding!!!
Tanner hails from the outer island of Maui and along with the other Maui groms coming up through the Hawaiian ranks, he has a well rounded surfing arsenal. He is a natural footer with a quick crisp style. He can be found ripping Honolua on the best days and tapping into his local spots when the conditions are right. He is coming up hard and just pulled a great clothing sponsor, FOX. Tanner prefers the X-16 short boards and often rides X-Ups and Semi- Guns.
Tanner loves his Xanadu Shapes and has been using KEAHANA for two years now during Nationals and other high profile contests. Interesting sidebar-Tanner has never broken a KEAHANA EPS Concept Surfboard and is ordering a fresh contest quiver right now.
Welcome to KEAHANA BLOG! KEAHANA means sharp/fast curve. Our technology has been researched and developed since 1996.
Throughout these years we developed our "magical" resin, which combined with super light weight blank (98% air and 2% mass), the flexi but strong wood stringer, the high strength KEAHANA epoxy resin and the special KEAHANA fiberglass, you have a surfboard that will keep the spring back feeling for years.
KEAHANA surfboards make you feel like you are "flying" on water.
We are confident that you will quickly feel the KEAHANA difference because the boards generate more speed, projection, and maneuver recovery. Get in to it! But watch out! KEAHANA is addicting!
