Yuri Soledad Charging on KEAHANA!!!

Yuri Soledad is a complete surfer. He is a stand out in Jaws. He is one of the pioneers in surfing big waves in Maui. Him and his friends dominate paddle or town in in Jaws. All you have to do is go to Jaws when waves are going off and you will quickly now how he controls everything when surf pics up.

He looks for big waves around the globe.

Yuri just got a 4 board quiver with KEAHANA to Surf this winter in Maui. 5'11, 6'4, 6'8, 7'2

He is a family man with 3 kids and is a co-owner of one of the top restaurant in Paia Maui - " Paia Fish Market".

One the most important jobs for Yuri is to coach grommet Ian Gentil. Ian just signed with Billabong has very good chances to get on the WCT elite.

Yesss! The waves have been pumping this week and we hope you have been getting some!
Von Sol Kingpin Sean Mattison, has been ripping on his KEAHANA Comet model and recently teamed up with expert lensman, Mike Delanzo, to produce these great water shots. Now something to mention, these photos are the result of one session, one afternoon! Sure many surfer/photographer teams can produce the goods but to consistently get good water photography results in one session is truly remarkable. Well done you guys!!!


The Comet is a super precise handling, shortboardy (is that a word?) design which still retains some of the fish like glide and still totally user friendly/easy to Shred!!
