The Japanese surfer Hayato Maki went to Indonesia with some friends to get some perfect and empty lines. It looks like he took his KEAHANA board shaped by Cole and just smashed the waves on the pacific. This trip was just featured at Surfline. Check it out by clicking here.
Hayato is from Tokyo but he travels all around the world and he even lived in Hawaii with his family for a while. As a original soul surfer this guy couldn't be happy having to compete in every condition. Now he is a free surfer internationally recognized who seeks his dreams looking for perfect waves. You can read more about his interesting personality at Surfers Eyes website. Or you can visit Maki's personal blog.
Yeah, Hayato, we are stoked! We hope that you had so much fun with your board! We are looking forward to get you even more KEAHANA boards!!
